Jeff Stelling predicts West Brom clash v Middlesbrough

Jeff Stelling has backed West Brom to beat Middlesbrough in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

The Baggies go into the clash having picked up an important three points against Hull City at The Hawthorns through the week.

The Sky Sports presenter has predicted that it will finish 1-0 yet again to The Albion, with Neil Warnock this time on the other end of the result.

West Brom

Sharing his prediction on the Super 6 website, Stelling believes it will be another tight affair at The Hawthorns but another clean-sheet.

Unfortunately, Stelling also believes our nearest automatic promotion rivals, Fulham and Bournemouth will also pick up three points.

Neil Mellor also predicted the result, going for a more emphatic result in the last game before the international break with the Albion backed to win 3-0.

Must win.

West Brom are crying out for one thing, and that is consistency.

Valerien Ismael will be delighted with his side at The Hawthorns, but away from it, things are not looking very good at this moment.

Two wins and two defeats in our last four is not good enough, and it certainly isn’t automatic promotion form compared to the likes of Fulham.

Putting two wins together on the bounce will be perfect before this next international break, and welcoming Boro is a brilliant opportunity for just that.

Warnock’s men were blown away by Luton in the second half of their clash on Tuesday, and that is exactly what The Albion will want to do tomorrow.
