Adrian Goldberg furious with West Brom fans after Middlesbrough game
Adrian Goldberg wasn’t happy with a section of West Brom fans after they booed the team off at half-time against Middlesbrough.
Speaking on the latest edition of The Liquidator podcast, Goldberg tore into a few Baggies fans for hurling abuse at the team.
West Brom trailed 1-0 to Boro at the break, but they had tried to play better football in an attempt to break Neil Warnock’s side down.

However, that wasn’t enough for some fans, and Goldberg wasn’t happy.
“There were a few people who booed Albion off at half-time. I was incensed.
“I’ve always thought Albion fans are fair-minded, but I was disappointed at some of the shouting and the ranting that went on around me.”
Goldberg is not happy.
Goldberg makes a good point here. It was not as if the Baggies weren’t trying; they were desperately searching for ideas and working to break Boro down.
So, they were giving their all for the shirt, and that can’t be questioned.
However, if fans weren’t happy with what they were seeing, they have every right to express that opinion even if Goldberg thinks some of them overstepped the mark.

If you look at where West Brom are in the table, you would think that most supporters would be happy with what they have seen so far.
However, some of the football has been turgid, and it appears as if it is all getting a bit too much for some.
The main problem for the Baggies is the lack of a proper striker; if they could acquire one in January, then perhaps Valerien Ismael’s style of play might start to work, and the fans might enjoy themselves more.
In other West Brom news, the Baggies could be forced into making a new signing in January after latest injury blow.
