David Prutton predicts West Brom clash v Reading
West Brom have been tipped to beat Reading in the Championship on Saturday afternoon by David Prutton.
Albion face the Royals at the Hawthorns aiming to build on their 2-1 win over Coventry City last weekend (4th December).
Valerien Ismael’s side are currently third in the Championship table, two points behind the automatic promotion spots, while Reading are five points above the relegation zone in 20th.

In his latest Sky Sports predictions column, Prutton has gone for a 2-1 win to West Brom after being encouraged by what he saw against Coventry.
“That was a big performance and result for West Brom and Valerien Ismael last Saturday,” he said. “To get back to winning ways and back amongst the goals, the gap to Bournemouth in second is now just six points heading into the weekend.
“Reading just need to keep picking up points after their deduction to keep themselves away from the bottom three. However, I don’t see them doing that if the Baggies play anything like they did for most of the game at Coventry.”

Expectation
There is hope that West Brom have turned a corner after their four-match winless run came to an end with victory over Coventry last week.
We finally saw a performance that was worthy of competing for promotion and it looked much more like the team that started the season in such excellent form.
Albion cannot afford to lose more ground on the top two and they have a chance to build some momentum now with games against Barnsley and Derby County to follow their clash with Reading.
Even though the Royals are so low down in the table largely because of their deduction of six points, they are still a team that West Brom should be beating, particularly at the Hawthorns.
The Baggies are the only side in the second tier yet to lose a home game this season, although Veljko Paunovic’s men have won back-to-back matches on the road.
In other West Brom news, Albion cannot wait much longer to give this academy star a chance in the first team.
