Michael Dawson says West Brom involved in three-horse race for Championship title
West Brom will be involved in the Championship title race this season with Fulham and Bournemouth, according to Sky Sports pundit Michael Dawson.
The Baggies are currently third in the Championship table, five points behind leaders Fulham and three points behind second-placed Bournemouth in the hunt for automatic promotion.
But while Valerien Ismael’s side claimed victory against Reading this past weekend, both sides above them dropped points in a topsy-turvy campaign.

The current form of the sides is enough to convince former Tottenham and Nottingham Forest defender Dawson that West Brom will be in with a chance to win the title this season, thus gaining promotion at the first attempt once again.
Dawson was speaking to 90min when he picked Fulham to be crowned champions, but admitted the pack was closing on them.
“Well, I think the pack is getting closer.
“I still think Fulham will win the league. I think that that group of players at Bournemouth will certainly be in along with West Brom.”

Consistency is key
The Championship title race is totally up in the air currently and West Brom have certainly got as good a chance as anyone to be able to earn automatic promotion.
They have one of the best goalkeepers in the league in Sam Johnstone, which means defensively they’re capable of keeping anyone out of their net when at their best.
The Baggies’ biggest issue this season has been scoring goals, having netted just 30 times in 22 league games so far this season.
With the January transfer window creeping up on us, if Ismael can add a serious goal threat to his squad for the second half of the season then they will have a fantastic chance of returning to the Premier League for next season.
