‘Rotten’ – Lepkowski reacts to West Brom striker Dike’s injury
Chris Lepkowski has taken to Twitter to share his thoughts on West Brom striker Daryl Dike’s injury.
The American, 21, suffered a hamstring injury whilst making his full debut in the Albion’s 3-0 victory over Peterborough on Saturday (January 22).
It was announced today that Dike will be sidelined for eight weeks and is set to miss eleven games during that period.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Lepkowski said: “Ooft. Rotten luck for all.
“Terrible.”
Nightmare
It is typical of West Brom’s luck this season that the team’s major January signing gets injured during his first start.
It is hugely disappointing but there is nothing Albion can do, and they are just going to live without him for the time being.
It has come at the least opportune time with the Baggies now having something to build on thanks to their emphatic win against Peterborough.
One smidgen of a silver lining may be the fact Dike wasn’t involved in any of the goals, he wasn’t even on the pitch so there should be no excuses in the teams upcoming fixtures.
It was a lively start from Dike though that shows promising signs for his return. Despite not scoring, he continuously got himself into the right areas and showed good energy up top which led to a few chances that on another day he might just bury.
Hopefully, the injury doesn’t set him too far back as his return will be highly anticipated by everyone at the club.
In other Baggies news, Ismael hopes West Brom can build on momentum after Peterborough win.
