West Brom players ‘unconvinced’ with Valerien Ismael’s methods

West Brom players are beginning to lose faith with Valerien Ismael with the Baggies form continuing to deteriorate under the Frenchman as per Daily Mail.

They are said to be ‘unconvinced’ by his managerial methods after Albion suffered another disappointing defeat to the hands of 13thplaced Preston North End last night (January 26).

The 2-0 defeat at the Hawthorns leaves West Brom in fifth place just two points clear of dropping out of the playoff places.

Decision time

Results simply haven’t been good enough at West Brom for several months now.

It has been said time and time again, but the gaffer doesn’t look to have any tricks up his sleeve to solve these problems and aimlessly waiting for a miraculous change in form could be devastating for the Baggies.

One win in six games and three wins in 13 across all competitionsis embarrassing for a club pushing for Premier League action and is much closer to relegation form than it is to promotion.

Last weekend’s emphatic 3-0 victory against Peterborough looked like a turn in the road for Albion with a positive result to build on.

But with another crushing defeat as well as the fairly long-term injury to Daryl Dike, the club find themselves back to reality with Ismael having questions to answer.

The club needs to make a decision as soon as possible. The longer the speculation continues amid poor results the more detrimental it could be on the atmosphere in and around the squad.
