West Brom loanee Hugill set to join Cardiff City – John Percy
Jordan Hugill’s loan deal at West Brom is due to be cut short as reported by the Telegraph’s John Percy.
Cardiff City are set to sign the Norwich City striker on a loan deal lasting till the end of the season.
Hugill has been out of favour at the Hawthorns after scoring only one goal all season in conjunction with the signing of Daryl Dike.

Percy wrote on his personal Twitter: “Cardiff City are signing Norwich striker Jordan Hugill on loan.
“Hugill’s loan at West Brom will be cut short so he can join Cardiff for the rest of the season.”
About time
Hugill has been out of favour under Valerien Ismael for quite some time now.
The introduction of Daryl Dike was the final nail in the coffin but today’s introduction of 33-year-old Andy Carroll must have added salt to the wounds of the once Premier League striker.
It is a real shame how his Albion career has gone; he gave everything for the shirt when playing but luck never seemed to be on his side.
It is great news for the Baggies to get him off the wage bill and open up more room in the squad for a potential late signing in the transfer window – however unlikely that is.
Hugill himself will be delighted as all he wants to do is play football and he would have been miserable if he had to endure the rest of the season out of the West Brom squad.
Hopefully things go better for him in Wales because you couldn’t fault his character during his time at the club.
