West Brom ace Jordan Hugill returns to Norwich City
West Brom have today (January 29) confirmed that Jordan Hugill has left the club, returning to Norwich City.
The striker’s loan deal was cut short at the Hawthorns having scored only one goal in 20 appearances for the Baggies.
The 29-year-old looked to be completely out of favour at Albion with the additions of Daryl Dike and Andy Carroll in the January transfer window.

Another loan deal in the Championship is rumoured with Cardiff City named as strong candidates.
Farewell
This is great news for both the player and the club.
Hugill was keen to leave the Hawthorns and rightly so after being left out of the squad and Ismael making it very clear he has no future at the club.
The Baggies would have been equally keen to get rid of him with the former West Ham forward being paid a handsome weekly wage for virtually nothing.

This development now opens up a space in the squad for someone who has a future at Albion – potentially a youth prospect.
Albeit unlikely, West Brom could use the money saved in wages to reinvest back into the squad in the final few days of the window.
The Englishman deserves huge credit for his torrid time in the Midlands. Not once did he throw his toys out the pram or display anything other than a positive attitude even when everything was stacked against him.
Hopefully he can find form at his next club because his hard work and dedication deserves it.
