West Brom will not make Steve Bruce announcement today
West Brom are reportedly continuing talks with former Premier League manager Steve Bruce to replace the sacked Valerien Ismael.
According to a report in the Independent, the Toffees will not be making an official announcement about Bruce on Thursday (February 3).
This comes after David Ornstein reported that the 61-year-old was set to accept the job later today.

Right choice?
Bruce comes to Hawthorns on the back of decades of experience in the English game.
He’s also seen as somewhat of a promotion specialist, securing a pathway into the Premier League on four different occasions.
Under Valerien Ismael, promotion was the be-all and end-all and how he was going to be judged at the club.
He failed to deliver and the Baggies appeared to be declining rather than improving with every passing month.
While Bruce may not be the most glamorous of names, if he proves to be efficient then surely, the club would take him in a heartbeat.

Delivering promotion would also see the fans warming up to him and giving him a chance to prove his mettle in the Premier League.
Chris Wilder, who the club vetoed in the summer, would have been an exceptional appointment, but he is unavailable now and there are few better options than Bruce at the moment.
