West Brom and Wolves in hunt to sign AFC Wimbledon midfielder Rudoni
West Brom and Wolves are among the clubs who are in the hunt to sign AFC Wimbledon midfielder Jack Rudoni in the summer, according to TeamTalk.
The football news website reports that Albion – as well as Fulham, Luton, Nottingham Forest, Swansea, and Hull – have scouted Rudoni, 20, since the turn of the year.
It is understood that Wimbledon are braced for bids for their “star midfielder” in the summer with Leeds, Wolves and Burnley also said to be in pursuit of the English youngster.

Summer plans in place already
West Brom’s scouts will always be on the move checking out talent from across the country and it seems like a no-brainer to be keeping tabs on Rudoni at the moment.
In January, Football Insider reported that both Sunderland and Barnsley had made bids to sign the central midfielder but both were rejected by Wimbledon.
And for Rudoni’s sack, that may have been a good move for his sake with clubs now higher up in the English leagues eyeing up the 20-year-old.
West Brom really need to sort out their central midfield area in the summer because it’s an area of the squad that hasn’t been shown any real attention in too long.

Jake Livermore’s ridiculously bad disciplinary record can be excused if his performances were any good while Alex Mowatt has so far been a complete flop. Jayson Molumby is only on loan at The Hawthorns while Adam Reach, quite simply, isn’t a central midfielder.
Despite it being such an important position, West Brom have overlooked adding real quality to their central midfield options time and time again.
If you exclude loan signings, no one has matched Darren Fletcher in that area – and he left The Hawthorns almost five years ago.
Sam Allardyce saw it was an issue straight away last season but was hamstrung by finances and had to make loan deals to bring in Okay Yokuslu and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Rudoni is young and appears to have a great future ahead of himself, scoring seven times and supplying five assists in 34 appearances across all competitions this season for AFC Wimbledon.
If we win this race to sign him, he cannot be the only midfielder brought in over the summer.
In other West Brom news, an ex-Premier League referee has reacted to Livermore’s red card being appealed against.
