West Brom welcome Blackburn to The Hawthorns on Monday evening which proves to be a must-win clash.

Steve Bruce will take charge of his first home game at the club, and changes are being forced and guaranteed already.

Jake Livermore is one of those who is suspended, with Jayson Molumby the clear candidate to come in and replace him.

This is the opportunity the Brighton loanee has been waiting for.

Livermore is suspended for four games now, and that hands Molumby an extended run in the side for the Albion.

We haven’t seen much from the eight starts and 10 substitute appearances, and these next four outings have to show us something that proves this wasn’t a complete waste of time.

According to WhoScored, Molumby makes more fouls per game (1.1) than he does interceptions (0.7), blocks (0.1) and clearances (0.7).

To go alongside his five bookings and one red card, the midfielder has also failed to deliver a single goal or assist during his time here.

Waste?

We have not seen the player we were all hoping for at the beginning of this season since he arrived from Brighton.

Livermore has continually played ahead of him despite being favoured by nearly no one watching along from the stands.

Sam Allardyce instantly took the captain out of his side when arriving midway through the Premier League season and replaced him with hardworking runners.

That had a huge impact on the side, and could the same happen again?

The least we will get from Molumby is that, and hopefully, he can use this as a motivation to make a real difference between now and the end of the season.
