Jim White bored by West Brom v Blackburn, worried by goalscoring form
Jim White was left as bored as ever watching West Brom struggle to a 0-0 draw against Blackburn on Monday evening.
Reacting to the Championship showdown on talkSPORT, White singled out the big worry facing the Baggies in the final third.
Steve Bruce has inherited a side that has now gone six hours without finding the back of the net, dropping out of the play-offs in the process.

Speaking live on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan this morning (15 February, 11:20 am), the host wasn’t impressed.
“No harm to West Brom or their opponents, Blackburn, but it seemed like the longest game in the world,” he said.
“We didn’t see a goal as there weren’t any. Steve Bruces’ home debut as Wes Brom manager, what it does do, is it ends a run of three successive defeats, but now is it worrying for Steve they’ve gone six hours of football without scoring.”

Worry.
White wasn’t the only one left stunned watching along.
It was shocking at just how much we struggled in the final third, with no real cutting edge to create chances.
Even lumping it long to Andy Carroll didn’t work, with no bodies around him, and the quality of delivery simply not good enough.
It is hard to even point the finger at Bruce either, he has only had two games in charge, and he has already been disrupted by red cards.
Something needs to change very quickly, or we will be waving goodbye to the play-offs, never mind promotion.
That is if that hasn’t happened already after this shocking run.
