West Brom legend Ally Robertson and Steve Bruce in agreement over problems
The problems West Brom are facing this season have been well advertised and they don’t seem to be improving under new manager Steve Bruce.
No goals in the last four games and seven blanks in the previous nine speaks for itself and that has seen the Baggies freefall down the Championship table.
West Brom legend Ally Robertson has had his say on the matter having met with Bruce recently to discuss the issues at hand at The Hawthorns.

“I met Steve Bruce at the training ground last week – we have a mutual friend in Bryan Robson,” Robertson said in his Express and Star column.
“And I told him, as a team, we’ve done well until we have got to the final third – as soon as we there though we’ve had nothing.
“He agreed that things simply haven’t clicked up top. And the statistics prove it, we now haven’t scored in seven of our last nine games.
“The Blackburn match was another frustrating evening. The clean sheet was a big positive.
“But to win the game we needed to get more bodies around (Andy) Carroll and get more crosses into the box that he could attack.”
Change it
West Brom fans were keen to see the back of Valerien Ismael as the uninspiring football drained any life out of the supporters at the stadium.

The results didn’t help but they were still in the top six when he was given his marching orders by the club board following a 2-0 defeat away at Millwall.
But playing more attractive football isn’t working under Bruce so far and the same problems are rearing their ugly head.
The 61-year-old needs to start playing the numbers game and going much more direct to get the most out of Carroll’s superior aerial prowess compared to Championship defenders.
If they start getting crosses in or playing big diagonal balls up to the England international’s head, then they can expect to start scoring again and begin to climb back towards the playoff places.
In other West Brom news, Carroll received plenty of praise from the boss this week showing an ‘immense’ attitude since joining the club.
