West Brom boss Steve Bruce fires ‘difficult’ Kenilworth Road warning
West Brom boss Steve Bruce has named Kenilworth Road one of the most ‘difficult’ places to play in the Championship.
The Baggies take on Luton Town later today (February 19) as they look to mount their promotion push once again.
Bruce has fired a warning to his players as the former Newcastle United manager targets his first win as Albion boss.

“I was at the Luton game last weekend when they played Birmingham.” Bruce told the West Brom.
“If someone had told me after 30 minutes that it was going to finish 3-0 to Birmingham, I would have told them no chance.
“You could see Luton were confident in what they were doing and how they were trying to play. I have nothing but respect for Nathan Jones and what he’s doing at Luton.
“It’s never an easy place to go and, in fact, it’s probably one of the most difficult places to go.
“We’ll have to be at our best to go and get something from there. We need to go and win.”

Must win
West Brom simply have to win this game. The longer Bruce goes without his first win, the harder it will be to get the fans, players and those involved with the club fully on board.
There shouldn’t be alarm bells ringing just yet as the former Hull City managers first two games were extremely difficult.
Jake Livermore did not help him at all with his stupid sending off at Bramall Lane and the team showed great improvements in their 0-0 draw with automatic promotion pushers Blackburn Rovers.
So, it isn’t all doom and gloom for the new boss, but he will be desperate to calm the nerves and get the first win under his belt.
Albion currently sit in ninth place, just three points off the play-off positions ahead of the weekend’s action.
A loss against Luton could see the Baggies drop as far as 14thin the table and surely end their play-off push.
What a perfect time to turn their away form around and get the new bosses first three points.
