West Brom should move for free agent Mohamed Diame as they look rescue their promotion push under Steve Bruce.
The 34-year-old is currently a free agent having left Qatar Stars League club, Al-Ahli SC and Bruce held talks last week, according to Ryan Taylor.
Diame already has a relationship with Albion boss Bruce with the duo enjoying their time together at Hull City.

He would offer something different to what they already have in midfield which isn’t too difficult with how the Baggies midfielders have performed in recent weeks.
All you have to do is look at the impact Andy Carroll has made since joining as an ageing free agent. Yes, he hasn’t set the world alight but he has been one of Albion’s better players when given the chance.
The Express reported that work permit issues have scuppered the deal after the talks were held with the free agent but if there is any chance of solving that issue, Diame would be a great player for West Brom.
Desperate
West Brom fans can’t afford to be picky with the way things are going at the club as of late.
New boss Bruce is yet to make a worthwhile impact since taking charge at the Hawthorns following the departure of Valerien Ismael.

He was brought to the club to try and rescue the Baggies promotion push but things have gone from bad to worse.
Their latest loss against Luton saw Albion drop to 11th in the table despite playing one more game than the five teams above them.
Still clinching promotion is far from impossible with so many games left, and form surely set to improve as Bruce finds his feet with this terrible squad.
Brining in a familiar face might help the former Newcastle boss and Diame will certainly offer West Brom something different to what they already have.
An extra option in midfield certainly wouldn’t go a miss and the club should give Bruce everything he needs to make the difference.
