West Brom ace Dara O’Shea could start his first game since August
Dara O’Shea could be in for his first West Brom start since August as Steve Bruce’s side take on Middlesbrough in the Championship according to Express & Star.
The Republic of Ireland international has recently returned from a fractured ankle suffered whilst playing for his national team which has kept him sidelined for five months.
Bruce was adamant about making changes after the Luton loss and with limited options in the Baggies squad, the 61-year-old could turn to O’Shea to sure things up at the back after an impressive start to the season.

Why not?
Bruce has absolutely nothing to lose by starting O’Shea as long as he is ready. The last thing Albion needs is the defender being thrown back into action too eagerly forcing him to spend any more time out injured.
Having already got some minutes under his belt with the under-23s and off the bench with the first team, the 22-year-old should be ready for a start and boy does the team need him.
For a large period of the season, it was scoring goals that was the problem for the Baggies but now conceding them is also an issue.

Bruce needs time with this team, and he will hopefully do a better job than Valerien Ismael in time but at least under the Frenchman West Brom were defensively solid.
O’Shea returning is huge though. He was brilliant before his injury and if he can work his way back to that form it will be a huge boost for Albion in their promotion push.
