Darren Ambrose lashes into Steve Bruce after West Brom results
Darren Ambrose has slammed Steve Bruce for his lack of results since taking over the reins at West Brom.
Despite spending over 1000 games in management, Bruce has been criticised for his “outdated” tactics at the Hawthorns.
He is yet to register a win at his new club and the pressure is already mounting on him as the Baggies are drifting further away from the playoff spots.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Ambrose said, “The tactics of throwing in your best eleven and hoping for fun does not work nowadays.
“Unfortunately, we’ve seen a decline with Steve Bruce in management.
“Of course, you don’t manage 1000 games and not have some kind of awareness but it’s outdated.
“I think the Newcastle supporters will be pleased to a certain extent because everyone was blaming the players but that’s been proved wrong now.”
Shambolic
The former Newcastle boss is yet to register his first win at his new club and he’s clearly not enjoyed the start that many thought that he would.
He was hired because he had a decent promotion record but that clearly has not proven to be a good decision in hindsight.

Until and unless Bruce delivers promotion, he will be considered as a failure at the Hawthorns.
Should West Brom finish 7th or lower, there’s a good chance that he packs up his bags and leaves the club.
This clearly is a tough time for all Baggies fans but they’ve got to hope that there is a spark of inspiration from somewhere.
