Steve Bruce calls for more from West Brom ace Grady Diangana
Steve Bruce has called for more from West Brom winger Grady Diangana amid a poor run of form.
The 23-year-old has failed to live up to the form he showed whilst on loan from West Ham since making his move to the Hawthorns permanent.
Bruce was pleased with the Congo internationals performance in the first half last time out against Swansea but wants the player to show those levels on a more consistent basis.

“He (Diangana) lit up the division but that was two years ago now,” Bruce told Express & Star.
“We all know he is a talent. Everyone can see he is a talent. We have got to try and get him playing the way he was two years ago.
“He showed flashes in the first half against Swansea. He produced one or two bits of individual skills that probably only he could do.
“But at the end of the day, forward players are judged on goals and assists. And at the minute there hasn’t been enough for him.
“We have to try and get the best out of him.”

Still young
It is a really difficult one to call with Diangana. Often players have little lulls in the early stages of their career, especially when so highly tipped because of their excellent performances but this has been two years of frustration.
He was excellent when on loan at the Hawthorns from West Ham. So good, the club snapped him up in a heartbeat in what seemed like a steal.
The West Ham fans were furious they had let such a hot prospect go which made Albion believe they had a real-world beater on their hands, but things haven’t quite gone to plan so far.
It needs to be remembered the type of team he is playing in as well. He was fantastic under Slaven Bilic who might have had the secret ingredient for his success having worked with him in east London.
But Valerien Ismael and Bruce’s tactics have hardly suited the dynamic attacker which is likely to be why he is struggling.
Diangana is still very young and has a long career ahead of him so hopefully, he can turn things around.
