Steve Bruce has been left shocked after West Brom collapse
Steve Bruce and his staff has been left shocked at how bad things have become at West Brom in recent weeks, according to reports from The Atheltic.
The report claims that Bruce believed he had inherited one of the best squads in the Championship, but he has now realised that it requires big surgery and development to fix everything back to normal.
The Atheltic adds that the mood in the training ground is poor and that is reflected in the team’s performance at the moment.

Shocking
This is absolutely shocking to hear. Bruce arrived at the Hawthorns with loads of promise as he felt he could turn around the situation.
The promotion hopes are good as over, and the club is now facing a big task to create an identity.
Valerien Ismael failed to show tactical flexibility but the problem runs deep. Despite creating a relaxed atmosphere around the club, Bruce finds it hard to believe that the Baggies are heading towards a downward spiral.

The atmosphere around the club has become toxic.
One can easily notice that the players are not giving their best. The performance level has dropped considerably.
The players are not taking risks, and there’s hardly any creativity from the side. At the same time, there is relentless criticism from the fans, while there are even suggestions that the players are struggling to cope physically after the intensity of Ismael’s spell.
The Baggies are without a win in their last seven games, losing six of them.
