Steve Madeley details reaction of West Brom fans after Fulham win

West Brom fans roared their team on after half-time against Fulham which saw the hosts register a big win on Tuesday night.

The Baggies put their quest for promotion back on track with a 1-0 win over the runaway league leaders.

The Hawthorns faithful, who have given the team a hard time throughout the season, were upbeat and lively during the game.

Writing for The Athletic, Steve Madeley wrote, “There were some sounds heard inside the stadium last night that some West Brom players and supporters might just have forgotten were possible.

“There was the sound of an Albion team being roared from the field at half-time to spur them on into the second half. In recent months, half-time boos have become the norm.

“There was the sound of an enthused crowd urging their players on to one last effort as they dug in to repel a late Fulham onslaught in search of an equaliser.”

Phenomenal

Nobody expected this Baggies side to pull off a result like that.

Fulham have been in red hot form all season and are all set to seal promotion.

They must have thought that the West Brom game was something of a formality.

However, Steve Bruce’s men proved that they are up for the fight and not going to give up on their promotion quest.

The Hawthorns crowd proved that they can be the 12th man and should keep doing this until the end of the season.

In other West Brom news, Chelsea want to sign a Baggies ‘Dynamo’ and are hoping to seal the deal quickly.
