West Brom have to keep Callum Robinson and Karlan Grant together, forget Daryl Dike

After game upon game of experimenting, Steve Bruce has seemingly found his perfect recipe at West Brom that includes two out and out strikers.

Victory at home to league leaders Fulham and a comeback draw against automatic promotion chasers Huddersfield has sparked some life back into every associated with the Baggies including two of the club’s key attacking assets.

Callum Robinson scored the winner against the Cottagers in midweek having been set up by strike partner Karlan Grant and the two have become quite the duo.

Republic of Ireland international Robinson has emphasised his love for playing alongside Grant and hopes for it to continue for a long time yet [Express and Star].

But Bruce is going to have another potent finisher available again for the trip to Bristol City tomorrow with Daryl Dike returning from injury [Joseph Masi, Express and Star].

The 21-year-old American was signed by Valerien Ismael to be the saviour of the season and start banging goals in left, right and centre.

But he was rushed into the team by the former Albion boss and suffered a major injury setback just minutes into his first start for the club.

He’s had to be very patient in his recovery but he now appears to be ready to feature again for the Baggies but starting him would mean dropping one of the in-form strikers.

Dike might have cost an arm and a leg from Orlando City of the MLS but that shouldn’t mean he gets an automatic pass into the starting lineup.

Robinson and Grant have been superb together in the past two or three games and leaving either of them out unless they cannot play whatsoever would be a big shot in the foot from Bruce.

In other West Brom news, another Albion striker is a major doubt for tomorrow’s clash as the team news is revealed from Bruce.
