West Brom last-chance saloon for Ted Cann as he heads out on loan
There has been a lot of talk about the goalkeeper situation at West Brom recently with Sam Johnstone, Alex Palmer and David Button all in the news.
England international Johnstone may well be leaving The Hawthorns at the end of the season with his former club Manchester United hoping to secure a deal to sign the 28-year-old [The Sun].
Palmer was sent to Luton Town on an emergency loan a couple of weeks ago but has since returned to replace Button on the Baggies bench.

One shot-stopper that isn’t being talked about however is 20-year-old Ted Cann and given his most recent loan move, you can see why.
Yeovil Town in the National League is the destination for Cann until the end of the season at the end of which he will know his future at The Hawthorns.
If he performs out of his skin in the highest step of non-league then he might have another shot at making it with his parent club.
But he struggled to get a game at AFC Telford United earlier this season so how he is going to walk into Huish Park and take the number one position is anyone’s guess.

In reality, Cann has probably seen his last West Brom chance already drift away but there is still a world in which he would be useful.
Homegrown players are becoming critical in registration rules for some competitions and goalkeepers are sometimes used to meet said requirements.
Cann is capable of being a third-choice at The Hawthorns rather than the ageing Button and he could even pop up with a match-winning performance on that one occasion he is called upon.
In other West Brom news, Callum Robinson has been waxing lyrical about one of his Albion teammates.
