Sky Sports pundit David Prutton predicts West Brom clash v Bournemouth
The good form of West Brom is well and truly over after defeat at the weekend and now they take on promotion hopefuls Bournemouth at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies had gone four games unbeaten but fell to a dismal 1-0 defeat to local rivals Birmingham at the weekend to all but end their hopes of a playoff push for promotion.
They now take on Bournemouth, who sit second behind Fulham in the table and are looking to cement their position by winning their game in hand, something Sky Sports’ Prutton has backed them to do so, 2-1.

West Brom could look to begin planning for next season in this game, making changes that could see a drop or a rise in performance.
But fans will be hoping to see a far more inspired performance than they did at the weekend, but Prutton believes that won’t be enough to secure even one point.
Pain
This has been a long and painful season for West Bromwich Albion fans, but thankfully we’re entering the tail end of it now.
The Baggies have seven games left this season including this one, and the summer cannot come soon enough for the club to reset, rebuild and recalibrate for next year.

It’s been poor from start to finish for the most part and while there was a period where results were good, the performances haven’t been at any point.
A defeat to Bournemouth won’t do much for the mood around the club and while a win is always nice, it doesn’t really mean much at this point with fans counting down to the end of the season.
Whether Prutton is proved right or wrong, the fans just want a performance they can enjoy and be proud of and it’s hard to say if they’ll get it, which tells you everything about where we are as a club right now.
