Jeff Stelling and Neil Mellor predict result of West Brom clash v Stoke
Sky Sports duo Jeff Stelling and Neil Mellor are expecting West Brom to make it back-to-back wins when they face Stoke on Saturday afternoon.
The Baggies earned a big win over Bournemouth at The Hawthorns in midweek to bounce back from derby day defeat last weekend.
Now ahead of a clash with Stoke at home once again, both Stelling and Mellor have predicted via Super Six that Steve Bruce’s side will pick up another win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

Stelling is also backing the Baggies to keep a clean sheet for the second game in a row, something they haven’t managed to do since December.
Mellor on the other hand is expecting more goals, backing a 2-1 win for the home side which would see them move to 60 points for the season and potentially just four off the playoff spots.
Back to back
Back to back wins is something that has been really hard to come by this season for West Brom, but the win over Bournemouth was really impressive.
Defensively they were able to keep the Cherries out, restricting them to zero shots on target, but they also looked lively going forward and managed to be dangerous.

Now they must keep that good performance level against a side that haven’t been great recently, to keep their incredibly slim hopes of a playoff place alive.
Even if they don’t make the playoffs, they’ll want to end their season on a high and the players should want to prove to Bruce that they deserve to be part of the squad for next year.
There’s plenty to look forward to in this game, because neither team have been incredibly bright, so there is plenty of opportunity for entertainment and goals.
