West Brom can sack Steve Bruce in June as contract clause reveal emerges
Steve Bruce has a one-week window in June when he can activate a clause in his contract to quit West Brom, according to Alan Nixon.
Writing via his Patreon account today [10 April], the Sun journalist reported that there’s a termination clause in Bruce’s contract that can be triggered both by the manager and the Baggies for one week in June.
It is understood that a decision will be made on the 61-year-old’s future once the Championship season has ended.

Stick or twist?
Bruce hasn’t done anything to suggest that he’s capable of taking this West Brom squad back to the Premier League.
But that’s the problem – can anyone get this squad promoted?
Albion’s squad has been made up by numerous managers, a hapless technical director, loan deals and freebies.
It’s no shock that Bruce hasn’t been able to oversee an improvement at The Hawthorns – the squad is shocking.

And that’s where the issue lies with the Baggies, it’s the squad.
It’s easier to sack a manager and hire a new one than it is to overhaul the entire squad. It’s cheaper, too.
And we all know that if there’s a cheaper way to do things, West Brom will explore that route.
Guochuan Lai and Ron Gourlay have a massive summer coming up that will define West Brom’s future in both the medium and long term.
Will the Black Country club be allowed to slip back into second-tier obscurity, fighting against relegation to the third? Or will they make tracks to show they are capable of getting back into the Premier League and, ultimately, staying there.
