Colin Murray mocks West Brom position in table after Blackpool win
Colin Murray has openly mocked West Brom as they find themselves 11th in the Championship after their win against Blackpool.
Goals from Andy Carroll and Karlan Grant saw Albion pull off a last-gasp win at the Hawthorns against Neil Critchley’s side.
Despite moving within five points of the playoff places, Murray poked fun at the Baggies who didn’t make the graphic showing the teams in contention for the top six.

He said on Quest [April 15]: “You wanted the graphics of the play-offs to have 11 teams,” he said.
“You wanted to have West Brom in, but we just stopped short as we file it under surely not.”
Glimmer of hope.
West Brom surely won’t be getting too carried away after yesterday’s win. Blackpool are a team that they should be nearing with no problems at all but yesterday was much harder than it should have been.
Albion conceded a very poor goal from a set-piece which simply isn’t good enough and they were lucky to win the game thanks to Grant’s late winner in stoppage time.

Steve Bruce’s attitude after the game says it all for the Baggies. He slammed his players for the performance, claiming there is a lot of work still to be done – which there is.
He is at the club to guide them to the topflight and having been unsuccessful this season, there is a huge weight on his shoulders to do it next year.
That is if he is still in the job considering his failure to get a consistent tune out of this team.
Undoubtedly, he should be the manager next term. No manager has been promoted to the Premier League more than the former Hull City manager and he deserves a fresh crack at the task.
In other West Brom news, Bruce is fearful for his Hawthorns future.
