View: West Brom must get Sean Dyche as new manager amid reports

West Brom need to try and make Sean Dyche their new manager following his recent departure from Burnley.

The 50-year-old was unfairly shown the back door at Turf Moor with the Clarets looking very likely to be relegated come the end of the season.

As per Birmingham Live, The Sun report that the recently axed Burnley boss is on the Baggies’ wanted list as they look to earn Premier League promotion next season.

Despite Steve Bruce only taking charge of Albion in February, the club must consider their long-term future and at least attempt to get Dyche.

Long run

It would be very harsh on Bruce but this is an opportunity too good to turn down for West Brom.

He has only been at the club for several months and in that time there hasn’t been much improvement in terms of performances and results.

The former Newcastle United manager has got a brilliant track record of getting teams promoted to the Premier League but if and when he does that, the problems might begin to occur.

His catastrophic run with the Toon following his departure suggests he is way off the pace in terms of being a Premier League manager and the last thing the Baggies want is to be relegated in their first season after coming up.

Dyche on the other hand has been a stalwart in the English topflight for quite some time now, continuously keeping Burnley up against all odds.

Even with very little budget resulting in under nurtured and underperforming squads, the former Burnley boss kept them in the league and if they do go down this season, he won’t be to blame.

His appointment could see Albion return to the Premier League for good.

In other West Brom news, Bruce is fearful for his Hawthorns future.
