Chris Lepkowski slams ‘Awful’ West Brom defenders in Nottingham Forest loss
Chris Lepkowski has torn into the ‘Awful’ West Brom defenders for their performance in the 4-0 loss against Nottingham Forest.
A win from this game would have put the Baggies right back into the play-off picture.
However, that did not happen as they conceded three without reply to all but end their chances of finishing in the top six.
During the game, Lepkowski wrote, via his personal Twitter handle, “Defending that has to be seen to be believed. Awful.
“Too busy blaming somebody else; the story of this #wba side. It’s never their fault.”
Shocking
This was the opportunity for West Brom and they failed to take it.
From minute one, the players did not look like they were up for it.
They were lethargic and seldom reacted sharply to second balls.
Forest, on the other hand, played like a team that wanted Premier League football next season.
Despite being the better-ranked team, they showed passion and desire on the pitch.
Even though West Brom had so many experienced players on the field, nobody led by example.
Steve Bruce, surprisingly, has failed to get a tune of this side and properly organise them without the ball.
None of the centre-backs or even the full-backs quite seem to know what’s expected of them and it was apparent once again.
