West Brom table offer to seal Jed Wallace signing, transfer decision set in next 10 days

West Brom have officially tabled an offer to sign Jed Wallace this summer, according to the Express and Star.

The newspaper have reported on their website that the Baggies have made their move with the winger set to leave Millwall once his contract expires in the next month.

It is suggested that Steve Bruce will get his answer within the next 10 days as he looks to get business done before the squad returns for pre-season.

The Baggies are set to return to training on the 23rd of June, with the next 10 days used for Bruce to add some signings to his squad hopefully.

Wallace is currently away on his honeymoon and will make his decision on his future when he returns from that break away, with the clock now ticking.

John Swift has already been confirmed as the first permanent signing of the summer, and Wallace could become number two in the next 10 days.

It is reported that the Albion are among a whole host of clubs that have offered a deal to the winger.

We are closing in on the moment of truth.

Bringing in Wallace and Swift for no cost at all would be the perfect start to the summer, and it would automatically make us one of the favourites to earn promotion to the Premier League.

Bruce has been there and done it with Aston Villa, Hull and Birmingham, and he will be desperate to add West Brom to that list and get them promoted.

We need more trusted options, and Wallace has been one of those who has smashed it in the Championship in recent years in a Millwall side that has gone under-the-radar and overperformed.

It will be interesting to see which other teams have tabled offers though, and if someone who is already in the Premier League is among those, that could change his mind.

We are hoping that Wallace runs out at The Hawthorns next season, but it looks as though the race is really starting to heat up as it nears its conclusion.
