However, the West Brom official Twitter page released a video on 13 July featuring a beaming Robinson as he made his way out of the tunnel at Northampton’s Sixfields Stadium.
Robinson was previously on the books at Northampton and proudly declared he’s “back home” as he made his way onto the pitch there.
Potential exit on the cards?
The Ireland international, who has 30 appearances for his country, could be a player on his way out of the Hawthorns with a potential reunion at Deepdale on the cards.
His relationship with the Lancashire club first start in 2015, and if he does secure a move back to the Championship club, it would be his third stint with them.
Despite, putting up decent numbers for the Baggies last season – eight goals and nine assists in all competitions – the consensus around the majority of West Brom fans was that Robison was disappointing last term.

The 27-year-old, who has scored seven goals for his country, would inject life into Ryan Lowe’s attack, which only scored 52 last term, 54 less than Championship- toppers, Fulham.
Still a pacey and dangerous forward with a lot more to offer, cashing in on the Robinson could be a decision Steve Bruce decides to make.
