West Brom: Okay Yokuslu incoming could mean Jake Livermore Hawthorns days are numbered
West Brom are closing in on a deal for free agent Okay Yokuslu and that could throw some doubt over Jake Livermore’s future with his contract entering its final year.
It has been reported by The Guardian’s Fabrizio Romano on Sunday 17 July (via Twitter) that the 28-year-old Turkey international has passed his Albion medical.
Yokuslu enjoyed a good loan spell at the Baggies in the 2020/21 season where he performed well in the Premier League.

The Turkey international will likely be a starter for the Baggies and Livermore surely must be concerned about his future aspirations at the club.
Livermore is a figure that divides opinion at The Hawthorns having featured 37 times for the Baggies in the 2021/22 season.
The midfielder was sent off twice and amassed eight yellow cards in a disappointing season for him personally.
Steve Bruce is a fan of experience and that is clear by the additions that he has made this summer with John Swift the youngest player to join the club at 26.

Livermore is certainly experienced, but at 32 it is highly likely that the midfielder will not be of much use for too much longer at The Hawthorns.
Considering he is in the last year of his contract and likely to be on a high wage, the club should potentially think about letting the midfielder leave this summer.
Bruce has made no secret (quoted by Express and Star, 24 June) of the fact players will have to depart the club in order for more signings to come into The Hawthorns.
The West Brom boss should maybe consider moving on Livermore with his future looking unlikely to be with the Baggies.
