West Brom fan favourite Nigel Quashie reacts as Baggies complete Okay Yokuslu signing
West Brom have completed the signing of Turkish star Okay Yokuslu and have left former hero Nigel Quashie ecstatic.
Steve Bruce’s side announced the return of their former loanee on Monday morning (18 July) via their social media channels and fans took to the comments to react.
Former Baggies star Quashie took to both Instagram and Twitter to post welcome messages for Yokuslu, much to the delight of fans.
His Twitter post read “Welcome back, yy type of player” while he posted “time to bring some fire back to the midfield” over on Instagram.
A major boost for Baggies fans
Yokuslu’s arrival has gone down well with Baggies fans after his loan heroics back in his first spell and he should provide a much-needed boost.

Albion have underwhelmed in pre-season after losing to Stevenage and drawing with Crewe, albeit with rotated sides, leaving some fans concerned for the season ahead.
Midfield was a particular concern, with wide players Callum Robinson and Adam Reach slotting in at points during their friendlies.
They had already signed John Swift, but Bruce seems to favour the former Reading star in a more advanced role.
This makes Yokuslu a particularly important signing for Albion, completing their midfield and putting any pre-season worries to the back of their minds.
Bruce confirmed to the Express & Star that Albion are looking to the loan market to finish off their summer business, with Newcastle’s Elliot Anderson currently being linked.
Albion had already had a strong summer after recruiting Swift and Jed Wallace earlier in the window, but Yokuslu puts them among the strongest teams in the league on paper.
They have the right manager to challenge for promotion in Bruce, so the club should be in for a strong season in the Championship.
In other West Brom news, Jake Livermore’s future could be in doubt after Yokuslu’s arrival.
