West Brom striker Zohore not fit enough to feature against Sheffield
West Brom striker Kenneth Zohore does not have the necessary match fitness to feature against Sheffield United, according to Steve Bruce.
The striker is likely to leave the club this window after falling down the pecking order and not being in the manager’s plans. [Express and Star]
However, a report from the Express and Star’s Lewis Cox has shared that he will not be featuring against the Blades on 11 August as he recovers from an injury.

Steve Bruce said: “Unfortunately Zohore pulled up a week ago and he’s picked up an injury too.
“He’s joining in tomorrow but he’s got to have a sustained period where he trains because unfortunately he’s not done enough just yet to get in that position physically.”
Zohore to leave West Brom?
Zohore has suffered a torrid time ever since joining the Baggies from Cardiff in 2019 and has never really adapted to life in the Midlands.
The 28-year-old, who is the youngest player to ever play, has made 23 appearances for the club in three years, scoring five goals during that time.
He spent the 2020/21 season on loan at fellow Championship side Millwall but after three goals in 19 games, he returned to the club.

The Dane did however have a positive pre-season but it still looks unlikely that he will be able to displace starting striker Daryl Dike.
Despite being six-foot-two, he is more than a target at man, as shown by his time at Cardiff when he regularly would get onto the end of through balls and get one-on-one chances that way.
Steve Bruce will have a huge task to re-integrate Zohore in the team so he may decide to cut his losses and part way with the striker.
In other West Brom news, the club have missed out on Hamza Choudhury.
