West Brom want to sign free agent Lewis Grabban, he earned £30,000-a-week at Nottingham Forest
West Brom are interested in making a move for veteran striker Lewis Grabban this summer, according to The Athletic.
The Baggies are in the market to sign players to bolster the squad for the 2022-23 campaign and have already made several new additions.
As per the latest report, they are interested in making a move for the 34-year-old who is now a free agent after his contract came to an end with Nottingham Forest.

The report further stated that the player is famous for not drinking alcohol and is keen on maintaining his fitness, thus making him an ideal fit for the club despite his age.
It is also mentioned that Grabban was on a £30,000 per-week contract with Forest and if he joins West Brom on similar wages, he will be one of the highest-earning players at the club.
Experienced
West Brom arrived in the transfer window after a disappointing campaign and it was clear that manager Steve Bruce will be looking to add more quality in the final third.
After the first few matches of the 2022-23 season, the 61-year-old clearly admitted that the team’s performance in the attacking department has been far from satisfactory with players missing a number of chances.

Therefore, it makes total sense to sign someone as experienced as Grabban, especially when he has already played under the former Newcastle United manager and had a decent record with eight goals in just 15 appearances.
Grabban has been a vastly experienced striker and has represented a number of clubs in Bournemouth, Norwich, Brentford and Sunderland.
In his illustrious career at the Championship, the 34-year-old 112 goals and provided 22 assists in 283 matches.
In the previous campaign, he was instrumental in the club’s promotion bid as he scored 12 times and provided four assists in 31 matches in the league campaign [Transfermarkt].
