West Brom manager Steve Bruce praised by Derby boss
West Brom manager Steve Bruce has been praised by Derby County boss Liam Rosenior revealing the respect he has for his former coach.
The Baggies were knocked out of the League Cup by Rosenior’s team in a tough cup tie Pride Park Stadium on 23 August.
However, after the game Rosenior, who played under Bruce at Hull City years ago, has described his respect for his former boss and wished him luck for the upcoming season. [Birmingham Live]

Rosenior said: “Steve Bruce is someone I’ve got huge respect for.
“Him, Steve Agnew, Steven Clemence and Alex Bruce, too.
“I was part of a journey with them and that was a massive part of my career, so I wish him and his players all the best for the rest of the season.”
Rosenior and Bruce.
Rosenior, who took over from now-departed boss Wayne Rooney, joined Hull City on a free transfer in 2010 and spent five years with the Tigers, between 2010 and 2015.
He spent the longest part of his playing career with the Tigers, making 161 appearances for the club during his five-year stay.
Bruce, on the other hand, spent four years as Hull City manager between 2012 and 2016, overseeing over 200 games at the helm.

The three years the two shared together at the East Yorkshire saw the duo become close, and Rosenior clearly still appreciates the time he spent playing under Bruce.
Being able to get a win over his former boss in his first season must have meant a lot to Rosenior and it is good to see the relationship between the duo remains strong.
