West Brom boss Steve Bruce credited for Grady Diangana’s form
West Brom winger Grady Diangana has heaped praise on his manager Steve Bruce for helping him regain form in recent weeks.
The 24-year-old has looked much more lively in recent weeks and looks to be regaining the sky-high confidence that he once had.
However, the former West Ham attacker has now revealed that his manager has helped him hugely in regaining his confidence.

He said, as quoted by the Express & Star: “The boss has given me plenty of confidence. He chats to me a lot and he’s always trying to get me to just be myself and cause the team problems.
“It’s a certain feeling, a certain vibe that you feel when you know you’re on the right path. I’m just trying to make sure that every game I play in, I’m in that zone.
“Hopefully that zone lasts for a really long time. I’m trying to take things day-by-day and game-by-game at the moment.”
The Bruce Effect
It is clear by the comments from Diangana that his manager has had a huge impact on his upturn in performances in recent weeks.
Diangana is a player that feeds off confidence, and this allows him to pull off the audacious skills and dribbles that make him who he is.
However, he seems like a player that after two seasons where he has scored a combined three goals, has lost this confidence and therefore has affected his playing style.

It seems that Bruce, who has always been a good man-manager, has found a way to help him regain that self-belief and trust in himself and his ability.
If this continues it can hopefully reignite the fire in the Congolese international and we can see a return of the player that West Brom paid £12m for in 2020.
The winger with frightening pace and daredevil-like flair, and if the club can successfully do that, they are already aware of the type of devastating attacking player they will have on their hands.
