Brighton midfielder Steven Alzate set to join West Brom on loan today
West Brom are now set to complete the loan signing of Brighton midfielder Steven Alzate before the window slams shut, according to John Percy.
The Telegraph journalist has reported that the Colombian international is set to undergo his medical this evening quickly ahead of the temporary switch to The Hawthorns.
Steve Bruce is set to reinforce his midfield with the late move after moves for Brandon Thomas-Asante and Martin Kelly were both confirmed in the past 24 hours.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, Percy shared the big news that one more deal looked likely to be completed before the deadline in a couple of hours.
“Late one at West Brom: Brighton midfielder Steven Alzate set to sign on loan for the season,” he wrote.
“Alzate is a Colombia international and doing his medical tonight.”
