Bristol City and Burnley join race for West Brom forward Callum Robinson
Championship duo Bristol City and Burnley have joined the race to sign West Brom forward Callum Robinson according to Bristol Live.
The 27-year-old has been subject to interest from Preston over the summer and it the Irish Independent reported on Wednesday 31 August that Robinson is set to seal a move away before the window shuts.
Bristol Live revealed on Wednesday 31 August that City are said to be considering making a last-minute move for Robinson along with Burnley, Cardiff and Wigan Athletic.

Exit looking likely
It’s looking very likely that Robinson won’t be a West Brom player come Thursday evening (1 September) with a host of Championship clubs now vying for his signature.
The Republic of Ireland international still has three years left on his current deal at The Hawthorns but considering the amount of interest in Robinson, it would not be a surprise to see West Brom receive a decent for his services.
Regardless of his recent form, Robinson is an accomplished Championship forward, who has a good goal-scoring record in the second tier.

Ultimately, it is a risk for the Baggies to let him leave the club and place their trust in new arrival Brandon Thomas-Asante to be the player to compete with Karlan Grant and Daryl Dike up front.
Thomas-Asante is younger than Robinson and has proven himself further down the Football League pyramid, but to perform at Championship level is a big ask for any striker.
This is a gamble for Steve Bruce and after the Baggies underwhelming start to the season, it’s a gamble that needs to pay off for the West Brom manager.
In other West Brom news, Albion could have been welcoming a new loan signing but they have messed up as he heads towards Birmingham instead.
