West Brom forward Callum Robinson undergoing Cardiff City medical

West Brom attacker Callum Robinson is reportedly undergoing his Cardiff City medical ahead of a major deadline day move.

According to Sky Sports Transfer Centre (1 Sept, 3pm), Robinson will finalise his Baggies and move to the fellow Championship club.

He’s had a tough time at the club of late and a fresh start was deemed as the best option for all parties.

Good choice

Robinson’s had his moments in the sun and will certainly be admired by the Hawthorns faithful for his glorious moments in the Premier League.

However, under Steve Bruce, it was clear that this was no match made in heaven and the best thing to do was for each to go their own way.

BBC Sports Wales earlier on Thursday that a permanent move will be worth around £1.5million to both clubs – which is decent money in the second tier for a player out of favour at the club.

It’s now time to focus on the incomings at the Hawthorns as we’re certain to see at least a few more before the 11pm deadline on Thursday.

The Baggies have left it late in the window on numerous occasions so this is not unfamiliar territory for the club hierarchy/

Hopefully, they get in the right players through the door and ensure that they’re good enough to aid Bruce in a push for a return to the Premier League.
