Josh Onomah left unhappy with West Brom transfer developments in past 24 hours
Fulham playmaker Josh Onomah has been left frustrated by developments that are leaving his loan move to West Brom in jeopardy, according to The Athletic.
Onomah had completed his medical way before the deadline on Thursday, but there were issues regarding the documents that needed to be sent across.
It didn’t end up happening, although the midfielder is still in place in Birmingham should an appeal to the FA allow the move to still go through for the Baggies.

Writing in his latest piece on Friday 02 September for The Athletic, Elias Burke shared the latest from the player side regarding the developments.
“The situation was different for Onomah, who had completed his medical by the afternoon,” he wrote.
“The agreements between the clubs were understood to have been finalised, but there were issues with the documents that were sent.
“The Athletic understand there is frustration from the player’s side as Onomah was in place to sign and had already undergone some media commitments at Albion’s training ground.”

Wow.
Isn’t this the most West Brom thing ever?
How can you have a medical done and even some of the media obligations sorted, and then not even finalise and announce the transfer?
If this was down to Fulham not sending the paperwork because of all of their own deals, then there was nothing that the Baggies could do.
Steve Bruce and Ron Gourlay will be equally as frustrated given they had done all of the work to get the player up to the Midlands for the move, only for it not to happen.
The FA have waved away any chance of Steven Alzate’s move happening, but surely they will see more sense with this one given everything that has happened.
A late announcement for Onomah would give a huge boost to the fans and the squad, and it would be even better if the news came through before the Burnley showdown.
In other West Brom news, the club had already been dealt a “massive kick in the head” in latest transfer window.
