Steve Bruce set to seal Erik Pieters transfer for West Brom
West Brom are now set to offer Erik Pieters a deal to sign on at The Hawthorns, according to Alan Nixon.
The Sun journalist has reported that the Dutch free-agent has proved his fitness after training with the Baggies over the summer since leaving Burnley.
Personal terms are said to be no issue for the left-back who would bolster the options of Steve Bruce who is also hot on the trail of playmaker Tom Rogic.

Writing on his official Patreon page, Nixon shared the latest with numerous new faces now set to arrive at The Hawthorns over the coming days.
“West Brom boss Steve Bruce is offering Dutch defender Erik Pieters a deal to join his squad,” he wrote.
“Pieters is a free agent after leaving Burnley and has been training with Albion where he has proved his fitness.
“Now Baggies have seen enough to keep Pieters on and personal terms should not be an issue.”

Fast movers.
Ron Gourlay and his team have moved very quickly after the window slammed shut to give Bruce what he wants within the squad moving forward.
Deadline Day was nothing short of a disaster with loan moves for Josh Onomah and Steven Alzate collapsing at the final moments, but that hasn’t stopped progress from being made.
Now, Pieters looks set to join Rogic with both seemingly on the verge of signing on for the Baggies, as they see their squad improved dramatically.
Pieters has proved himself, making this a very smart addition to the squad and not just an old head that can’t do more than motivate in the dressing room.
Conor Townsend will expect to remain first-choice, but he finally has some competition on his hands and someone with Premier League experience to push him after years of nothing.
This is a very smart move and hopefully it can be done ASAP.
