West Brom midfielder Quevin Castro seals loan move to Notts County
West Brom young talent Quevin Castro has joined Notts County on Monday (12 September) on a short-term deal.
Notts County, who currently plays in the fifth tier of English football, have confirmed the move via their official website. The 21-year-old midfielder will join the club until 8 January.
The Portuguese attacking midfielder signed a two-year deal with the Baggies last summer. and he established himself as a regular in WBA’s development squad.

Good move?
The youngster has made only three appearances for the first team since joining the club.
He began his career on the English non-league circuit and joined the club from Bury Town in 2021.
The Portuguese midfielder has spent loan spell at League One with Burton Albion, and he would be a good fit at Notts County.
The head coach of Notts County, Luke Williams, is confident that he can make a big contribution to the side.

However, it’s not going to be easy for him. At the moment, Notts County have Jim O’Brien and Sam Austin in the side who are doing extremely well in the advanced midfield position.
The Baggies have made six signings this summer, and they have enough depth in the attacking midfield areas.
It looks like a good move for Castro who needs regular game time to continue his development.
West Brom have made a poor start to the season, and they find themselves 16th in the table.
