David Prutton predicts West Brom v Birmingham showdown for Sky Sports
David Prutton has backed West Brom to pick up three points in their Championship showdown against Birmingham on Wednesday evening.
The Sky Sports pundit has predicted that it will finish 1-0 at The Hawthorns as Steve Bruce finally looks for more final product in the final third.
The Baggies have been dominating games, but have had to rely on too many draws yet again, something that is becoming a familiar picture.

Writing in his Sky Sports predictions column, Prutton believes it will be a very close battle at The Hawthorns in the first derby of the season.
“It has been a case of too many draws in games they ought to have won for West Brom, and that is why they are languishing in the bottom half of the table,” he wrote.
“Birmingham got an important win at Preston last time out to arrest a real slump in form ahead of a trip to their near neighbours. It could be a bit of a grind here, but I think the Baggies will sneak it.”

Desperate.
Bruce will be more than desperate to get three points and start a real run in the Championship.
After dominating the likes of Burnley and Watford, there was no reward at the end of it and now would be the perfect time to start picking up three points.
Turning all of these chances into goals and smashing our local rivals would be superb, and something that could really kickstart our season.
After a somewhat positive transfer window continued after the deadline with the arrival of Tom Rogic, the squad is getting stronger with more depth, and everyone will be needed.
Brandon Thomas-Asante may be the one to watch after scoring at the death in the draw against Burnley on his debut, with a first start now surely on the cards.
Three points are definitely needed and should we dominate once again, surely the luck will start to change and a heavy beating of someone is on the cards.
In other West Brom news, Ron Gourlay has now pivoted to a new market as he looks for multiple new out of window transfers for the Baggies
