Jeff Stelling predicts Norwich v West Brom scoreline as pressure builds for Steve Bruce
Jeff Stelling is anticipating another West Brom defeat when the Baggies travel to Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon.
West Brom have endured a torrid start to the season under Steve Bruce, with their latest defeat coming at the hands of local rivals Birmingham City.

Soccer Saturday host Stelling expects West Brom’s dire run of form to continue this weekend, and doesn’t expect the Baggies to find the back of the net.
Writing on the Super 6 website, Stelling has opted for a 1-0 win for Norwich.

Frankly, Stelling’s weekend prediction is perhaps generous to a West Brom side that is bogged down in a terrible run of form.
The loss to Birmingham marked a new low for Bruce’s men, who desperately need a big result to kickstart their season. An away trip to second-placed Norwich City could the catalyst to spark a turnaround – but it seems unlikely.
In the weeks leading up to the season, many would’ve predicted West Brom to be battling Norwich at the top end of the table, but the start of the 2022/23 campaign has exposed a number of problems at the Hawthorns.
Bruce’s mismanagement of the squad has left his job hanging by a thread, and a heavy loss to Dean Smith’s side could be his final act in the west Midlands.
If Stelling’s prediction is true, then Bruce may be afforded some breathing space to sort out his mess, but he hardly deserves another week in the hotseat.
