West Brom have 11 players heading for end of contract in summer of 2023

West Brom could be set for an exodus of players in the summer with 11 players on course to see their contracts end, according to Birmingham Live.

Some of the players heading for the end of their time at The Hawthorns, as it stands, are not first-team players in the form of Rico Richards, Saul Shotton, Jamie Andrews, Mo Faal and Quevin Castro.

There are some that have rarely played this season, if at all, too in Kenneth Zohore and Kean Bryan but there are some very concerning names on the list.

Perhaps most notably, club captain Jake Livermore is into the final year of his current deal at West Brom having been at the club since 2017 arriving from Hull City.

Recent free transfer signings Tom Rogic and Erik Pieters are also on course to see their deals expire come the end of the 2022-23 season but Rogic has an option to extend for a further 12 months.

Kyle Bartley is the final player in this predicament but has been playing fairly regularly for the Baggies.

Sign some

Albion can’t afford to let all 11 of these leave and they surely won’t having only just signed Rogic and Pieters, in particular.

West Brom

Livermore is too senior in the team and the dressing room to just cast aside at the moment as has been evident with Leicester City who sold Kasper Schmeichel over the summer and are now rock bottom of the Premier League.

Faal is the one youngster who has looked impressive for the Under-21s side since his promotion from the Under-18s outfit and it would be worth giving him an extra year or two to prove himself, perhaps on loan.

The rest are not likely to be much of a miss in truth with Zohore an injury machine and Castro already on his second loan of the season in September.

Some of the youngsters could be worth a punt for another year if they have a good season but none of them are lining up to be the next big thing at the moment.

In other West Brom news, Albion may regret not signing this South American wonder after the way he performed against them at Carrow Road.
