Joe Chapman shares what fans chanted after West Brom loss v Swansea

West Brom suffered a 3-2 defeat against Swansea City at the Hawthorns on Saturday (1 October) in the Championship, and the pressure is mounting on Steve Bruce.

Joe Chapman of Birmingham Live shared on Twitter that the Hawthorns empties rapidly after the final whistle, while a section of the fans chanted that Bruce will be sacked in the morning.

The home fans also jeered the team at halftime as they trailed 1-0.

Chapman wrote on Twitter: “The Hawthorns has emptied rapidly. You’re getting sacked in the morning chants coming from the Brummie and the Smethwick.”

Shocking

It was a shocking performance from the Baggies, and the situation is really dire at the moment.

Steve Bruce was given the task to rebuild the side and take the team to the Premier League.

After one win in 11 games, the Baggies are 21st in the table, and there is a spiral downfall.

If this is allowed to continue, then they will reach a point of no-return, if not already. West Brom must act now, and sack Bruce immediately.

West Brom

His tactics have been poor, and there are too many individual errors.

What is really frustrating is that the Baggies had a great opportunity to win this game today. They made a poor start and were 1-0 down at the break.

They came back sharply in the second half and turned the game through goals from Jake Livermore and Grady Diangana. All it was needed was a solid defensive performance to preserve the lead.

But not only they conceded, but the Baggies also missed a penalty and then conceded again late on to throw the match away. This is simply unacceptable.

In other West Brom news, Albion are struggling to sell tickets for a match this weekend with fewer than 10,000 sold.
