West Brom confirmed starting XI v Swansea
The club football is back after the international break and Steve Bruce has named a strong West Brom starting XI against Swansea City in the Championship.
The Baggies have been very poor in the league this season, but they have shown signs of improvement against Norwich City. They need to pick up wins at home, and a win against the Swans at the Hawthorns on Saturday (1 October) will set a nice platform.
Bruce has made just one change from the side that drew 1-1 against Norwich. Tom Rogic has come into the side in place of Jayson Molumby.
Three points
The Baggies were left frustrated as they felt they should have won the game against Norwich at Carrow Road.
Some of the decisions didn’t go in their favour as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Bruce’s side are winless in their last eight games in the Championship, and another poor result today will surely put further pressure on Bruce.
The former Newcastle boss was brought in to take the club to the Premier League, but West Brom are closer to relegation at the moment.

Unless the form dramatically improves, Bruce may not be able to continue his role at the club.
Swansea, on the other hand, have shown signs of recovery after a horrible start. They have picked up two wins in their last three games, and are heading into this fixture on the back of a 3-0 win against Hull City.
Having said that, the Baggies are well capable of beating any side at home, and they would be very disappointed if they can’t pick all three points today.
In other West Brom news, Albion are struggling to sell tickets for a match this weekend with fewer than 10,000 sold.
