Chris Wilder availability should be West Brom green light to sack Steve Bruce
Steve Bruce’s tenure at West Brom is surely hanging by a thread after another damaging Championship 3-2 defeat at home to Swansea City.
It’s fair to say that The Hawthorns faithful have well and truly turned on the manager, who has never been popular among the vast majority of fans.
One win from eleven Championship matches is form that will see the Baggies playing in England’s third tier unless there is a change of manager soon. Bruce hasn’t seen an upturn in form since his arrival at the club and his time in charge needs to come to an end.

The Baggies may be reluctant to let Bruce depart considering the lack of options available to them at the moment but after the latest Championship news, the Baggies would be foolish not to relieve Bruce of his duties and appoint a new man.
Chris Wilder has seen his time at Middlesborough come to an end of a fractious relationship with the Riverside board reaching a boiling point.
The Teessiders, much like West Brom, have been severely underperforming this season after plenty of preseason optimism. Despite a difficult time in the North East, Wilder is still a good Championship manager who has proven himself to be forward-thinking in his methods, which cannot be said of Bruce.

Wilder has recent success in getting a team out of the second tier and would surely provide Baggies fans with a little bit more optimism and excitement than they are currently witnessing at The Hawthorns.
A slightly more progressive and charismatic manager could spark the Baggies into life and resurrect their slim hopes of making the 2022/23 season a successful season. This is a chance the club shouldn’t pass up.
In other West Brom news, Albion are struggling to sell tickets for a match this weekend with fewer than 10,000 sold.
