West Brom boss Steve Bruce confesses his future for others to decide
West Brom boss Steve Bruce has admitted that his future at the club is out of his hands after a 1-0 defeat to Preston North End on Wednesday evening.
The defeat leaves Albion in the relegation zone and with a record of one win in 12, a terrible situation for what was hoped would be a promotion-pushing season.
Bruce admitted the results haven’t been “good enough” and promised to do his best to turn things around should he be kept on as boss of the club.

“We’re all judged on results, and they haven’t been good enough. I totally get it, before you get there,” said Bruce, as quoted by the Express and Star.
“I’ll do my utmost to turn it around, I still believe that we are capable of going on a run with the players we’ve got.
“However, at this moment in time, everyone is finding it tough. We need to roll our sleeves up, get on with the job as best we can and prepare for Saturday.
“I’ll never quit it, that’s for sure because it’s been tough – that’s not going to be on the agenda.”

Times up.
Bruce’s time at Albion surely has to be up now, the team’s performances aren’t improving and they are only getting themselves embroiled further in a relegation battle as the games pass by.
West Brom need to appoint a solid replacement who can saviour the campaign, there’s plenty of time to go and the right appointment can change the club’s fortunes drastically.
Persevering with Bruce is probably the worst thing the hierarchy can do right now, for once, let’s hope they can get this decision right, he needs to go.
It’s laughable that he has even been given this much time already, any other club in the league, or England for that matter would have got rid a long time ago.
The tactics are stale and any ideas of reigniting the team with new signings don’t seem to be working, it’s poor and the idea of relegation is a haunting but possible reality right now.
In other West Brom news, Ally Robertson only wanted one thing from Saturday’s game, and he didn’t even get that.
