West Brom left ruing transfer blunder in Cedric Kipre Cardiff loan move
It has been revealed today that Cardiff City’s loan agreement with West Brom for centre-back Cedric Kipre doesn’t include a recall option, according to Wales Online.
Kipre has been nothing short of sensational for the Bluebirds so far this campaign and West Brom will be left licking their wounds after a dreadful start to the season.
Journalist Glen Williams announced to his Twitter that the clause was “fantastic news from a Cardiff City standpoint” who will be hoping to sign Kipre on a permanent basis.
The Baggies centre-back was man of the match in Cardiff’s Tuesday night fixture against Blackburn and the Albion will be left rueing this transfer blunder after his stellar performances.
It was initially thought by supporters of both teams that the defender would have a recall option to the Hawthorns, nevertheless, unfortunately for West Brom, this is not the case.

Tough.
This news seems to go great with the current theme of absolutely everything going against West Brom, so it comes as no surprise really.
However, it again highlights the poor management currently at the Hawthorns, how they let Kipre leave on a season-long loan when he’s putting in these kinds of performances for Cardiff is baffling.
His pre-season nightmare against Leyton Orient seems to be a thing of the past, a recall option should have been enforced in case something like this happened.
The centre-half has been awarded two man-of-the-match performances since moving to Wales, a solid feat with the few appearances he’s made.
The one saving grace in all this is that the Baggies may be able to get a solid price for Kipre should he leave the Hawthorns at the end of the season.
Although, his galactic performances at the back for Cardiff would have been welcomed in the West Midlands so far this season.
In other West Brom news, a finance expert says Albion have cleared debts with new documents emerging on Companies House.
